Our core specialty is offering thermal and acoustic insulation products manufactured to customer specifications, packaged as kits ready to service our customers’ lines.

Structural Floor Systems
For city-buses, coaches and passenger rail cars
Complete fabrication and supply of specialty plywood floor panels as well as light-weight fiber re-enforced urethane composite panels. Cut and milled to fit your bus and coach designs.
Delivered as kits, profiled and pre-drilled requiring minimal online preparation.
Also available with “core” sound damping technology integrated within the structure of the panels to control resonance and to dampen the floor system while maintaining to be light-weight and structurally sound.

Transit Floor Coverings Kits
For city-buses, coaches and passenger rail cars.
Artik/OEM is a North American distributor of Tarabus® floor coverings manufactured by Gerflor. Imported directly from France in rolls, Artik/OEM cuts, welds and packages line ready kits including stair nosing and custom logo mats. Standard un-cut rolls are also available.
Utilizing waterjet cutting technology guided by our automated layout and design software Artik/OEM delivers high quality “production line ready” kits with minimal raw material waste.

Laminated Interior Panels
For city-buses, coaches and passenger rail cars
Transit grade interior HPL grade panels suited for walls, ceilings as well as modesty and driver partition panels.
Variety of colours, pattern and finishes – suited as transit interior panels or thicker formats offered for self-supporting partitions. Compliant to transit vehicle flame and smoke standards with anti-graffiti treatments applied for ease of cleaning.

- Rear bulkhead panels laminated with carpet, fabrics or HPL.

Metal Panels and Assemblies
For city-buses, coaches and passenger rail cars
Metal fabrication capabilities offered by Artik/OEM are designed to complement the related needs of the core insulation and interior products which we provide to the bus and rail builder.
Beyond standard panel fabrication and assemblies, we offer acoustically treated noiseless metal panels, treating the metal itself acoustically while not changing its structural performance. Noiseless metal panels eliminate the requirement to add additional mass damping treatments to reduce resonance and vibration.

Exterior Side Skin Panels
For city-buses and coaches
Aluminum or gel-coated fiberglass resin construction – panels are ready for finish painting and logo application on your production line.
Available in oversized formats to reduce seams as well as to suit low-floor city-bus designs where the rear platform is elevated requiring high side skins.
CNC cut and profiled including penetrations for marker lights as well as other exterior features. Custom forming available on request.
- Pre-primed aluminum panels available – omni-green.
- Fiberglass skin panels also offered – gelcoat applied.
Sewn Curtain Panels and Thermal Blankets
Various industries, city-bus, coach, marine, etc.
High-temperature covers for muffler housings, exhaust piping as well as engine hatch cover treatments – reduces heat gain across metal panels while protecting structure as well as electrical components while ensuring passenger safety and comfort levels.
- FST compliant fabrics with low conductive insulation within the core.
Fabric curtains and panels – constructed of fire-rated fabrics to be secured in place using “hook and loop” or button lock type closure systems. Commonly used within bulkheads to separate cabling and mechanical components from HVAC runs.
- Removable for service allowing in-field access to mechanicals.
